one continue
per launch.
then game over.
coins here pair with tokenized stocks and play one credit. if your launch stalls — 10 days without a trade — the CONTINUE screen starts counting. exactly one coin can ever be inserted to reset it. the second stall ends the game: curve dies, exits only.
the screen is an example drawn in your browser. no cabinet, no coin and no countdown on this page is real.
insert coin, play once
insert coin
name your coin, pick a tokenized stock from the shelf — every cartridge fictional, on purpose. curve quoted in the stock, fee 1%, paid in the stock.
play
trade toward 100 units of the stock. fill the curve and it's STAGE CLEAR: the pool opens. stage clear means the pool opened — nothing more. nobody "wins" a market.
continue?
10 days without a trade arms the CONTINUE screen: a 10-day countdown. during it, anyone can insert the one coin — a flat fee into the pool — and the timer resets. once. ever.
game over
countdown hits zero, or the launch stalls a second time: the curve dies. no more buys, exits only, no refunds designed. the machine keeps your quarter. that's what machines do.
pick a cartridge
every stock on the shelf is an example — 28 CARTRIDGES · ALL FICTIONAL. nothing is deployed, and no game has started.
the one continue can be inserted by anyone — which usually means the dev. if the dev is the only one feeding the machine, that is not demand. that is a dev with quarters, and the manual says so.
why a continue at all: most launchpads let a stalled curve rot in the attract screen forever. we give it one honest second chance with a price tag, and then we call it. a machine that always offers another credit isn't a game — it's a subscription.
read the manual
same size as the pitch. the machine does not explain itself twice.
high score: 00000000
no quarters yet.
the hard parts are real: detecting a stall that a single wash trade can't reset, taking a continue fee into the pool without it being a dev-only ritual, and killing a curve at zero without a race to the exit. none of it is built. every screen on this page is attract mode.
